The new school year is finally here!  Below you will be able to find a copy of the Classroom Guidelines for both Mathematics and Social Studies.  Students have reviewed these guidelines with me in class and have been asked to review them with a parent/guardian also.  I will be sending home a guideline sign-off sheet that both the student and a parent will have to sign acknowledging the expectations for the year.  The signed guideline sign-off sheet will count as a homework grade out of 10 points.  Again, I appreciate your cooperation; since “knowing the rules of the game” will contribute to a more successful school year for all.

      This is my fourth year teaching at St. Stephen’s and being the 7th grade homeroom teacher.  In addition, I am teaching Math for grades 6-8 and Social Studies for grades 7-8.  I am looking forward to having a great year with all classes.

 

      My education began at Stella Niagara Education Park in Lewiston and then went to Mount Saint Mary Academy for high school.  After graduating from the Mount, I continued my education at Alfred University in the Southern Tier.  While at Alfred, I was an education major, mathematics minor, and coaching minor.  As an Undergraduate, I was very involved with Alfred’s Division III Swim Team and participated in Habitat for Humanity.  Once I graduated, I continued for my Master’s and was a Graduate Assistant Coach for the swim team at Alfred until God led me to St. Stephen’s.
